Easter record

22. April, 2020
The month of April is well known to be the best month for long-distance flights in USA Corn Alps. Our importer in the USA, Mr. Jaro Krupa from Chicago paragliding, used the potential day for a second longest flight in the USA up to date. The flight took place on the Gambit after a sole

Gambit wins again

2. March, 2020
The Asian part of the well known PWC circuit visited the world-famous site in Nepal Pokhara. Triple Seven team was happy to follow the development of three valid tasks where, a great pilot, Jungman Choi from South Korea, ended up winning the competition.  Out of three tasks, Jungman was able to win two of them.

Queen 2 rules the skies of Valle de Bravo

20. January, 2020
Valle de Bravo is known for consistent but quite demanding conditions in January, and last week’s Monarca Open was no exception. 5 tasks were scored, and when the dust settled we were pleased to see that last year’s many podium finishes for the Queen 2 were not just a fluke – this time, two Triple

Queen 2 wins the BGD Weightless

15. January, 2020
The first FAI 2 competition in 2020 was held in Roldanillo-Colombia; the BGD Weightless. This new competition format benefits the lighter pilots, with scoring adapted for different weight ranges. This way the lighter pilots get a chance to join the podiums, in spite of being too light to fly the big wings. Queen 2 made

26. September, 2019
The German paragliding scene is possibly the most sorted of any nation, with a strong federation working hard to further the sport in Germany. Hurricane Open in Dunlap, Tennessee – it was a tale of Queens…

26. September, 2019
The Hurricane Open was, by the looks of it, a very successful event, with no less than 6 tasks in 7 days. It’s almost standard fare to see the Queen 2 on the top of the podiums these days, but this event was something special even in the annals of Queen 2 comp success; top

First World Cup exposure – Michele Boschi and Gambit impress

16. September, 2019
It’s all very well to have made a big splash in a relatively small pond (Czech, Slovak and Lithuanian Open), it’s a different kettle of fish to jump into the ocean and do the same – and we were as keen to see how it went as most of you out there! As it turned

Gambit CCC wing – first official win!

13. September, 2019
The grand Macedonian Gambit debacle was very disappointing for us here at Triple Seven – so we were super stoked when our local ace Primoz Susa asked to fly the Gambit in the Slovenian leg of the Czech, SLovak and Lithuanian Open, which took place in our “back yard” here in Tolmin/Slovenia. Primoz flew in

And finally, closer to home…

26. June, 2019
While Levico Terme is still almost home turf for the Triple Seven crew, the Applegate Open was certainly a wee bit more exotic – but we also had a comp running in our own back yard, the Naviter Open in Tolmin/Slovenia. A much more diverse field, with pilots from all over the world, “luck” still

More Queen 2 news from the comps scene

26. June, 2019
We’d only just hung up the phone after speaking to Triple Seven USA Mr. Jaro Krupa about the Applegate Open when the phone rang again, this time with Pawel Faron (Triple Seven Poland) at the other end. He was equally excited to tell us that Alexey Milko had flown his Queen 2 into 2. place
