The Matrix design was crafted with the student in mind, offering the safest way to learn and experience the thrill of flight. Because of its lightweight and compact design, it can also be a reliable travel companion, providing endless opportunities to reach new heights and seize YOLO moments while travelling the world. Embrace the easiness of the Matrix and elevate your flying skills to new levels of excitement and adventure.
By obtaining certification for extended weight ranges, the Matrix allows you to customize its flight characteristics to meet your needs while complying with certified wing standards. Flying within this range will make the wing more dynamic and may present a greater challenge in staying airborne under weak conditions. Nonetheless, within the extended weight range, you will have a swifter wing and lighter load during your hike-and-fly expeditions.
We have decided to incorporate winglets into our new Matrix wing. During testing, we discovered that winglets offer crucial benefits for beginner pilots. Traditional design in school wings had to be adapted for stability, causing a loss of playfulness in turns. However, with adequately positioned winglets, we achieved a wing with lesser yaw and improved turn performance.
The Matrix has been certified with two riser options, each offering unique benefits for your flying experience. You can choose from sturdy and user-friendly wide school risers (460g) and light risers (300 g). This gives you the flexibility to optimize the weight of your wing for your specific needs and preferences. Whether you prioritize ease of use, stability, or a light and agile feel, you can find the perfect combination with the available riser options.
