FatraCUp hosted the Czech & Slovak paragliding Championship, where Queen 2 outranked the podium again! Kuba Sto (POL) in the first place and Zsolt Ero (HUN) in the second place! Big congrats to yet another great result! Photo by Żywiec Air Team Results can be found at https://airtribune.com/fatra-cup-2020/results/task4754/comp/sport

Queen 2 rules the skies of Valle de Bravo

    20. January, 2020
Valle de Bravo is known for consistent but quite demanding conditions in January, and last week’s Monarca Open was no exception. 5 tasks were scored, and when the dust settled we were pleased to see that last year’s many podium finishes for the Queen 2 were not just a fluke – this time, two Triple

Queen 2 wins the BGD Weightless

    15. January, 2020
The first FAI 2 competition in 2020 was held in Roldanillo-Colombia; the BGD Weightless. This new competition format benefits the lighter pilots, with scoring adapted for different weight ranges. This way the lighter pilots get a chance to join the podiums, in spite of being too light to fly the big wings. Queen 2 made

German Newcomer Challenge in Tolmin SI

    26. September, 2019
The German paragliding scene is possibly the most sorted of any nation, with a strong federation working hard to further the sport in Germany. One initiative which has fostered many new talents over the years is the DHV Newcomer Challenge, a competition format aimed at preparing and nurturing the next generation of World Cup superstars.

Hurricane Open in Dunlap, Tennessee – it was a tale of Queens…

    26. September, 2019
The Hurricane Open was, by the looks of it, a very successful event, with no less than 6 tasks in 7 days. It’s almost standard fare to see the Queen 2 on the top of the podiums these days, but this event was something special even in the annals of Queen 2 comp success; top

    And finally, closer to home…

    26. June, 2019
While Levico Terme is still almost home turf for the Triple Seven crew, the Applegate Open was certainly a wee bit more exotic – but we also had a comp running in our own back yard, the Naviter Open in Tolmin/Slovenia. A much more diverse field, with pilots from all over the world, “luck” still

More Queen 2 news from the comps scene

    26. June, 2019
We’d only just hung up the phone after speaking to Triple Seven USA Mr. Jaro Krupa about the Applegate Open when the phone rang again, this time with Pawel Faron (Triple Seven Poland) at the other end. He was equally excited to tell us that Alexey Milko had flown his Queen 2 into 2. place

    The winner takes it all…

    26. June, 2019
Ever since the queens of pop (Agneta and Anni-Frid – the two A’s in ABBA) made it clear to us sometime in the seventies, ever since then we’ve all known that the winner takes it all – now the winner is a new Queen, the Queen 2!! Recent events around the world have made it

    Paragliding Winter Cup 2019

    8. March, 2019
The first “real” PG XC comp of the European season is the “Winter Cup” right here in our back yard. We sent our Swiss-army-knife colleague Matjaz, who flies hang gliders on a serious level, to compete in the event on a Queen 2. He was joined in the C-class by 4 other Queen 2 pilots,

“So give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.”

    11. September, 2018
In the old days the quote above, assigned to Jesus of Galilee, was often used by clerics to justify the collection of taxes. Today we’d like to use it a little more tongue-in-cheek, and say “give to the Queen (2) what is hers, and to the rest what is theirs” – it so happens that
