Yesterday we had quite good conditions for long flights in Slovenian and neighboring Alps. Two ROOK pilots were flying over 200km! Tilen Ceglar 218km and Primoz Susa with the longest overall flight of the day 239km. Flights could be longer as we were flying very fast but cloud base got low in Italy and it would be impossible to return over the "mouse trap pass", so we rather headed back.

XC course with Rook

First practical day of XC course we had couple of options on a not really perfect day. Finally we decided to cross into Austria with the idea to end somewhere near Zell em See. With a bit of faster flying we could do it but overcast stopped us just when it become interesting.

Primoz Podobnikпоказал фантастический результат – 6 место в общем зачете! При участии более, чем 90 пилотов на этих первых соревнованиях в этом году, организованных в долине So a в Словении Gasper Prevc и Camp Gabrje. Из 4 дней у нас было 4 таска с великолепными условиями. ROOK показал себя вполне привлекательно.

Bassano fair, new 777 Italy representatives

With not really favorable weather and canceled task there were still flyable conditions for a short while. Day was anyhow productive on our stand as we now have new official 777 representatives for Italy. For the beginning of the season it is really nice to meet old friends from all around Europe.

Klavdij went for a real Rook XC test flight!

With his first flight, he was flying over Julian Alps and finally made 91.9km. Overall some really nice routes and a flight we can envy!
His comment was "The glider is flying!" and "I could go a little bit higher over Vršič pass!"
