About Triple Seven brand

Triple Seven Gliders was founded by the Valic brothers, Aljaž and Urban, who are well known for their outstanding competition results in the early 2000s. Competing at the highest level, they collected podium finishes at major international events and quickly gained recognition not only as elite pilots but also as talented designers.

Their background in aeromodelling and aviation, combined with years of experience flying and testing, led them to collaborate with established brands such as Niviuk, Gin, Mac Para, and Gradient, where they contributed to the design of several successful wings.

After years of designing and supporting production abroad, they decided to create their own brand—one that would follow their philosophy of uncompromised design, free from the restraints of purely commercial approaches. In 2011, Triple Seven Gliders was born, launching with the highly successful Rook 1.

Since then, Triple Seven has developed wings in every category—from EN-A to CCC—offering the paragliding community products renowned worldwide for their balance of performance and safety.

While many brands follow regular product cycles, at Triple Seven we focus on quality over timing. We take the time needed to fully finalize a wing before it reaches the market, rather than releasing models simply to meet seasonal refresh demands.

This approach ensures that when a Triple Seven glider is released, it already offers a clear performance and safety advantage. It’s the only way we can deliver products that consistently earn a reputation as outstanding wings in the hands of pilots worldwide.

For more than a decade, Triple Seven gliders have been produced at the Aquadynamics facility in Sri Lanka, one of the world’s leading paragliding production centres. Aquadynamics manufactures for many top brands, ensuring continuous development, rigorous quality control, and the benefits of shared expertise across the industry. Over the years, we have built a strong partnership with their skilled workforce, giving us complete confidence that every Triple Seven glider meets the highest standards of quality and consistency.

Products & Technology

Triple Seven offers a complete range of wings, from EN-A to CCC, covering every step of a pilot’s progression.

Beginners – The Matrix is widely used by schools around the world, praised for its simplicity and safety. It provides new pilots with a secure and reliable platform to start their paragliding journey.

Low EN-B – The Knight series is the benchmark in the low-B category, perfect for newly licensed pilots with some real-world flying experience.

High EN-B – After gaining 50–100 hours of airtime on a low-B wing, many pilots progress to the Rook series, which offers higher performance while maintaining safety.

EN-C / EN-D – For advanced pilots with solid experience, our EN-C and EN-D wings provide the performance needed for ambitious cross-country and challenging flights.

CCC – For competition pilots aiming for the top of the podium, our CCC-class gliders deliver uncompromising performance at the highest level.

This full range ensures that no matter your skill level, there is a Triple Seven wing designed to support your flying goals—always with performance and safety in balance.

All Triple Seven wings are certified according to the internationally recognized standards for paragliding equipment: EN and LTF, with CCC certification for our competition gliders. This ensures that every Triple Seven wing meets the highest safety requirements and is clearly classified within the appropriate category. You can find the official certification documents for each product at the bottom of its product page under “Certification Data.” In addition, every glider comes with a wing ID card, which includes details about the applied certification standard and its classification.

Triple Seven sources its materials from the leading fabric manufacturers in the paragliding industry, including Porcher, Dominico, and MJtex. For the lines, we use a carefully selected mix of proven materials from suppliers such as Liros and other trusted names, combining Aramid, Dyneema, and other high-performance fibers.

Before production, every material is tested for compliance with specifications through our in-house quality control, ensuring that each glider meets the highest standards of durability, performance, and safety.

Care & Maintenance

Triple Seven maintains a publicly available database for all glider specifications. Unlike brands that restrict inspections to a few “official” centers, we make our data open so that any certified check center worldwide can carry out an inspection.

This allows your glider to be trimmed and maintained according to the certified specifications while ensuring compliance with the latest PMA Standard for Periodical Inspection of Paragliders.

Triple Seven wings require a periodical inspection after 2 years from purchase or after 100 flight hours—whichever comes first.

We recommend also consulting your glider’s manual (Service & Maintenance section).

Your wing will last significantly longer if you follow some simple care guidelines:

  • Avoid packing it damp
If you land late in the evening or in humid conditions, the fabric may already be moist. Never store the wing while damp, as this can damage the material’s chemical structure over time.

  • Do not store it in hot environments
Excessive heat (e.g., in a car trunk on a hot day) will drastically reduce the fabric’s porosity and shorten its lifespan.

  • Pack without bending plastics
When folding the wing, make sure the plastic reinforcements are not bent at sharp angles. This preserves the airfoil shape and ensures consistent performance.

  • Keep it clean from sand
If you fly from sandy take-offs or landings, clean the canopy regularly. Sand particles create mechanical stress and accelerate fabric wear.

  • Avoid chemicals
Never use cleaning agents on the canopy. Only clean with water, and let it dry completely before packing.

By following these rules, you’ll protect your glider and enjoy its performance for many years.
