
While Levico Terme is still almost home turf for the Triple Seven crew, the Applegate Open was certainly a wee bit more exotic – but we also had a comp running in our own back yard, the Naviter Open in Tolmin/Slovenia. A much more diverse field, with pilots from all over the world, “luck” still went our way in the Overall ranking (the comp is only open to EN C-and-below) – after 4 tasks the entire podium was occupied by Q-light pilots! In first place Maurizio Maina from Italy, in 2. place Love Lundgren from Sweden, and in 3. place Daniel Maraz from Germany! The only thing these guys have in common is their great taste in paragliders, and boy did they get the most out of them!
