ROOK Another 215 and 193km
On monday we were expecting D-day for the next 300 milestone with ROOK. The team was complete: Aljaz, Urban, Susa, Jost and Tilen Ceglar all equipped with ROOK XC machines. Day started fast as we took off at about 9:45. Not really what we expected, it did not really start to work well until 12:00 and we were still in Slovenia! TC, Susa and Urban already on the ground at Italian border, dropping off like flys. With a ride back to the nearest takeoff we flew back home to Bohinj lake to have a swim.
In the mean while Jost Napret survived our skydiving stunt at Kobariški Stol and was well on his way to complete the classic 200+. On the other hand Aljaž made one mistake in the beginning, staying too long on the north side of the mountains and at the end with all doors closed for return on the south faces. He finally flew really interesting route 193km, almost completing 4th 200km flight with ROOK in just two months. Sometimes mistakes opens new opportunities! Check his photos!
