The first “real” PG XC comp of the European season is the “Winter Cup” right here in our back yard. We sent our Swiss-army-knife colleague Matjaz, who flies hang gliders on a serious level, to compete in the event on a Queen 2. He was joined in the C-class by 4 other Queen 2 pilots, and they all made top-ten in their class, with Dominic Kapica and Kuba Sto taking the very top podium places. Much of the race was fast and furious over three tasks, and the CCC wings had an advantage during the long, fast glides around our home site of Lijak, but we were pleased to see that there were MANY CCC gliders scoring behind our Queen 2 pilots as well! If you’re a competitive pilot in the EN C class right now, there simply isn’t a better glider out there!
Congratulations to all the Triple Seven pilots in the event! You guys rock!
