The annual Stubai Cup was again an almost unlikely success – with a Föhn forecast for all of Austria, anyone NOT familiar with the particular micrometeorological conditions of the Stubai Valley could have been excused for thinking it’d be all talk and no flying – but as usual the Valley delivered big time, with our gliders being out for demo flights all day Friday and Saturday, and most of Sunday too. We were happy to meet all the positive and excited pilots there, they made the time pass quickly in spite of the chilly mornings.
