Yesterday we had quite good conditions for long flights in Slovenian and neighboring Alps. Two ROOK pilots were flying over 200km! Tilen Ceglar 218km and Primoz Susa with the longest overall flight of the day 239km. Flights could be longer as we were flying very fast but cloud base got low in Italy and it would be impossible to return over the “mouse trap pass”, so we rather headed back.
At the same time Jost Napret was flying the new King proto and made the first 200km FAI triangle in Slovenia. There were about three ideas floating around how to make the first 200 triangle but approximately similar and little bit shorter route was showed by Aljaž and Urban last year. Knowing that this is the first 200 triangle is the fact that its quite difficult to do it here, especially the first part. Congratulations Jost!
Today is a lazy rainy day with pleased tired feeling of yesterday flying. As good as yesterday! 🙂
